Paratreker All- Terrain

Manufactured and assembled by GM4X in the UK, The Paratreker™ All-Terrain is a non-motorised all-terrain wheelchair and is designed to make hills, mountains and wild countryside accessible, even and especially when there’s rough terrain involved. One person can push it in most conditions, however on hills and mountains, or if the ground is very rough it can take up to four people to push and pull the chair.

The Paratreker™ All-Terrain features four quality mountain bike wheels and tyres. These tyre combinations provide excellent grip across all types of terrain and the disc brakes which are controlled by the person pushing. The frame is made of Aluminium 6063 T6 and stainless steel and has been expertly designed to pivot on the front axle to maximise stability when manoeuvring across obstacles. The chair also uses a bespoke push/pull rod steering mechanism which is controlled independently by the user. If the user has limited hand and/or arm movement on one side, the steering mechanism can be controlled with just one of the handles.

The Paratreker™ All-Terrain can be easily disassembled for transit purposes. The frame of the chair is split by means of a quick release mechanism which is simple and easy. The robust Aluminium 6063 T6 and stainless-steel fabricated frame comes in two parts and joins together with a unique but simple clamping mechanism. Full instructions are provided, and training and demonstrations can be arranged.
